The Vision.......as we see it for now

The last several weeks we have been asking the Lord what the heck He is doing here in Belfast, with us, and through us. What does it mean to be a house of prayer, and what does it look like here in Northern Ireland, in Belfast in particular, it is obvious to us that the Lord is moving, we just are just trying to figure out how best to steward what He is doing in our midst. The Lord released some revelation to me yesterday as I was waking up, and I just wrote stuff down as it came to me. You can honestly say that the entire gospel could be summed up in John 3:16 and it would be true, at the same time you could spend lifetimes writing and compiling understanding, revelation, and commentaries on the gospel and it would all be true, and beneficial. In that same way, this in no way encapsulates the entire vision and heart of what is going on here, and what will go on here. At the same time, it gives a very good rough idea of what we are, where we are going, and why we do what we do. Having said all that, I hope it makes sense to you, and you get something out of it.

What is Belfast House of Prayer?

Some of us are naturally closer friends
But we are all family
We may look entirely different
But we have the same heart
We may be from different areas
But the same blood flows in our veins
We may have different needs
But the same provider
We may have different names
But the same Father
Whether laughing, crying, shouting, jumping, shaking uncontrollably, or just silently staring up into the sky with a thankful heart
We will not judge, demean, or be torn apart because of what the world calls irreconcilable differences
Because we have an inescapable truth holding us together
The Love of Christ!!!

To be a house, a group, a tribe that seeks His face,
not just his hand,
Embraces and expresses the fullness of who God is, and what He does:
A house of healing, restoration, love, peace, joy, sacrifice, forgiveness,
Where the love of Christ is no longer just a theological argument, but a living reality transforming our lives and redeeming our communities.
